feels like someone accidentally filmed real life and decided to call it a movie. non-actors, awkward pauses, fluorescent lighting, it shouldn’t work, but it does. there’s something weirdly hypnotic about how plain it all is. the tension creeps in slowly, like a bad thought you can’t shake. it’s not flashy, but it lingers. it felt like eavesdropping on lives no one usually looks at. strange, sad, and kind of beautiful.

Kinda loved this super lo-fi, non-actor, and low energy little story. Gives this sort of haunting mundanity to it. In a small town where nothing happens, when something happens it somehow still feels like a small town where nothing happens.

I guess I’m just not seeing what everyone else is seeing
this is was slow, quiet, a little boring
the ending wasn’t a good reveal either
I walked on the treadmill for the entirety of the film and my walk was the most thrilling thing about this experience
