Heima
*110 minutes cut.

Heima* is one of the most beautiful and perfect audiovisual pieces ever created by any being.
The music screams at us, the music whispers to us, the music makes us angry, the music makes us happy, the music makes us fall in love, the music destroys us, the music burns us, the music heals us—music moves us.
I used to dream of traveling to Iceland, but now I want to live and die there. I want to live among its people and connect with the monumental mountains and landscapes that reside there.

Thank you, Sigur Rós. This band—alongside Arcade Fire and Radiohead—is what makes me feel most human, what most awakens my sense of beauty in the world. Their music heals me. Their music moves me.

Forgive the lack of reviews lately. I’m going through a difficult time with myself. I promise I’ll return.

Desde a primeira vez que escutei Sigur Ros sabia que algo estava faltando na minha experiencia e acho que vendo esses shows descobri o que era

A beautiful tour of Iceland through the music of Sigur Rós, which in and of itself is absolutely transportive and hypnotic.
