Finally caught up with this one and honestly? It’s kind of a masterpiece. Top-tier choreography, incredible music, and Topol is just magnetic as Tevye. I really enjoyed it—every emotional beat landed perfectly.

I can totally see people liking the longer running time if they want to really luxuriate in that world and the atmosphere, but my attention span was definitely drifting to my phone for some of it. Still, it's a classic for a reason.

I felt like I had to watch this film at some point since I’m playing Tevye in my school’s production of Fiddler on the Roof, and it did not disappoint. A tragic story that starts off so innocent in a way but becomes so sad. It felt like a film you could connect with the entire time.
