paul’s delivery of “i just wanna live” really hit me
I DID NOT ENJOY ANY SECONDS OF THIS. the way everything just went out of control was extremely anxiety inducing to me, not to mention paul had the survival instincts of an ass. but i realised that was the whole point, we were supposed to experience paul’s anxiety with him.
somehow despite saying i didn’t enjoy it, i also couldn't stop watching it. i did enjoy how everything was connected in weird ways, dropped my jaw a couple of times, lots of great line deliveries in there.
when paul said something along the lines of “i’ll probably get blamed for that” made me cackle but “so take off, what is she gonna do? kill herself?” was DIABOLICAL
saw a review that said “it’s a comfort film in a way that it can always gets worse” and that’s one great way to put it.
(i can’t really decide on a rating because my objective analysis is fighting with what i was feeling throughout the experience)
