Atsuko Okatsuka lowkey sounds like Barry B. Benson when she exclaims loudly…and looks like the cutest watermelon in this fit.

‘Father’ is not as enjoyable as ‘The Intruder’, and I found myself laughing properly only a few times. But, y’know, I like whatever her vibe is.

Fingers crossed the next Netflix special is better, because this one…wasn’t that good.

I love Atsuko’s oddball style and laugh every time she does that intentionally pathetic voice waver, but this material didn’t hit for me. A little too quirked up. I’ve seen her quite a few times recently so I’m sure I’ll be a proud dad watching her next special recognizing the jokes she tested at my shows.
