This is just so fun and colourful! While clearly an experiment with movement rather than dedicated animation project in places, especially when compared to a lot of stop motion animation at the time, Bluebeard is overwhelmingly successful in its experiment, with its fluidity in some of the more surreal movements of body parts entangling being a high point. There are shot compositions in this that are so good that I've seen them flat-out referenced and quoted in other animated film.
