An obscure Eastern cult that practices human sacrifice pursues Ringo after he unknowingly puts on a ceremonial ring (that, of course, won't come off). On top of that, a pair of mad scientists, members of Scotland Yard, and a beautiful but dead-eyed assassin all have their own plans for the Fab Four.

National Lampoon's Beatles' Vacations.> It's always Ringo. This was the most I've said "why the hell not" while watching a movie since...' Yellow Submarine'. I prefer the ladder in terms of visuals and how the songs are incorporated within the story, but I generally liked the plot more in 'Help!'. The Beatles are so nonchalant about the possibility of Ringo being sacrificed. It shouldn't work, but I wouldn't change a thing about it. The musical numbers and the hilarious sight gags are well directed by Richard Lester (I can't wait to rewatch 'A Hard Day's Night'). This movie had some fun stakes and villains, despite parts of the main antagonist feeling dated. There are great environments, fun visuals, Beatles songs, and generally 'why nots', that make it undoubtedly watchable.
