One of the NFB's crowning achievements. Gorgeous stop motion animation, simple but deep story. Only the works of Norman McClaren stand above this, and that's saying a lot given the NFB's history of breathtaking animation.

Oh what joy it is to create! To create is to play and to play is to create. Brilliant way to display this concept through the use of sand, whereby the creations made in it are never truly meant to last, a fleeting moment both everlasting and temporary.
