Hmm, I’m not sure exactly what I liked about this movie but it was kind of endearing in a way. Also vaguely reminded me of memento which i forgot to leave a review on, whoops!!! Mainly because of the whole relying on others for your worldview and putting trust in them as they use it to manipulate you for other things.
Weirdly enough after checking reviews I don't think people viewed Ceila in such a creepy way as I did. I can’t imagine trusting someone (at least to an extent) to clean your home and inspect these photographs that you hold very dear to you only for them to be obsessive over you and practically create a shrine in their own home. Celia’s jealously is honestly quite insane throughout the movie with her obsession going as far to sleep with his friend just to feel some sort of power over him by eliminating Andy from Martin’s life by betraying Martin’s trust. This movie is pretty funny in some places, and almost set up like a romcom in others? (the beginning vet scene, and the car scene) and then others felt like a thriller and the soundtrack reflected all of this. I thought it was a pretty interesting watch but it kinda felt boring in some spots. I think it definitely could’ve been longer. I think the dynamics are pretty interested but no character is fully fleshed out so it doesn't leave you overly attached or make them feel real
