I didn’t have high expectations for this and those low expectations were met. This definitely made eighty minutes feel pretty long.
It was a fine movie just pretty boring and uninteresting in my opinion. I do think as far as art goes this was good, there are some great shots in this. That being said, some nice shots in a black and white silent film don’t really make up for such a lacklustre narrative. I was also kind of hoping for a bit more queer subtext like I had read this film had, but oh well.
