Some of it is creative and they make a solid attempt with the practical effects, but the story is confusing, the acting is kind of bad, the sound mixing is awful, and the soundtrack sounds like they just paid their best friend's garage band to use a few of their songs. I give then a lot of credit for putting real effort into this movie; a lot of similar films are so much lazier. Nothing about Carver is good, but overall it is better than most of these straight to the dollar store movies.
