Sweet Revenge

This was a great short film. I think the acting was great, and it had some decent kills. It wasn't really scary, but that didn't ruin it for me. The design of Jason's mask is just wonderful, and the scenery is perfect. I have to say that for a 16 minute long film, they did a great job of making it feel enjoyable for a longer time.

as someone who desperately wants there to be a new jason film in works since we’ve been getting so many new films from some of our beloved horror classics that i know for a fact will never happen when it comes to jason but im still glad that even if we aren’t getting a new jason film that we’re atleast getting a tv series based around his mother and her little origin story so there’s that to look forward to but i mean friday the 13th fans will never really be left without content because every year there’s always a new fan film being made around this well loved horror icon and in my own words i’ve got to say that i did find this one to be a decent one like it had your group of characters that your gonna end up seeing be all butchered and the kills in this one were so extremely bloody and grotesque even the ones that were offscreen and then it had your last girl standing which if you can even call her that since she did die and then somehow came back as some zombified version of herself like jason was in the second half of the friday franchise and then of course you had the man himself jason fucking voorhees in this short and i will say that i wish we got to see more of him onscreen rather than it just being at the very end of the film but im still glad we got to see him in action and i know many people aren’t really all too happy with how jason looks in this film but if i had to say in my opinion it’d be that he looks fine to me though there is one element i do agree with some people on and it’s that they should have made jason a bit more bulky like he was in the films but other than that this was a decent watch for me!

This short film was very hard to find since it is deleted but I have my ways.
Sound design is great, and the kills are gory but there are a few flaws, for example: Eve just taking a whole machete to the chest like it was nothing and just walks it off, incredibly weird! And also Jason’s design. His mask looks like a baby face sometimes and also Looks a bit cheap overall. One thing this short film really missed was the color grading I found it a bit bland and I miss the gritty campy vibe. 

After all I am just happy to see Jason again and I am curious what direction this franchise will take!
