Nadine Lustre and Vice Ganda are queens of their respective departments, no doubt about that. However, in this film, they clashed in most of the scenes. Nadine looks stiff in comedy scenes while Vice couldn’t keep up with Nadine (and Lucas) in drama scenes. As a result, nagmukhang hilaw at anti-climactic ang mga eksena.
The part where Angelo ran away to watch Mara in miss uniworld feels out of place because they still ended up watching at home lol. Also, some of the characters are practically useless to the movie.
The best thing in this film is Lucas Andalio. He delivered a stellar performance as Angelo and dare I say—outperformed Vice Ganda in the drama department. Also, hands down to John Lapus because he elevated THAT scene despite the few lines that he had.
Overall, the movie is decent at its best.
