This film is honestly absurd and probably one of the most weirdest body swap concepts I’ve watched but I adore it so much. I think the strangeness truly is part of its charm. Dinger, in particular always remains a massive constant source of joy for me and Corey Haim brings so much sincerity to that role that it becomes impossible for anybody not to feel a deep love for Dinger. You can tell he had so much fun acting in this movie and being with Corey Feldman. His portrayal radiates a kind of carefree optimism that will always make it impossible for me to hate this movie.
Knowing what happened to these boys in the future makes watching it so heart wrenching and bittersweet. Would highly recommend it to anybody who loves when actors have fun in their roles.
