Slightly dragged out, but there were a couple of funny scenes. The twist at the end had no setup whatsoever, reminded me of a Black Mirror episode. And here it's either Mandom's ability or D4C at work, though you could also throw in Bites The Dust.

Timeloops have to be my favorite thing in media. This really doesn’t do anything special with it. The pacing is just slow enough that you get bored with it. The main character, while a purposefully unlikeable killer, ends up uninteresting to the point where he’s annoying. There’s no actual exploration into his psyche. The other characters not aware of the timeloop aren’t given the sort of interesting spotlight that comes with being able to see what a person would do if you said this to then instead of that. The twist revelation at the end is the only real interesting thing it has going for it. By the time it gets to that the film is already over, and it feels like the twist ending is all they ever really cared about. It’s given no actual build up. It would’ve infinitely more interesting if the twist was revealed much earlier so the audience could actually see the world building built up in relation to that character’s psyche, but instead we’re just left with a boring hour of media that leads into a mediocre pay off.
