TIFF 2025: Discovery (World Premiere)
A personable look into the lives of an adult friend group through a series of meet ups for periodic dinners, working their way through changes and difficult circumstances as they struggle to avoid drifting apart. This film felt Canadian without feeling the need to continuously let the audience know that it was Canadian, something that I really appreciated. The originality of the writing and shooting style was very remarkable, and I'm not afraid to say I had a decent time with this film.
Officially my first TIFF50 viewing and the first I managed to successfully rush, let's hope for more!
