Impeccably directed with beautiful framing and sound design with phenomenal performances from classic actors. Harry Palmer could’ve very well tone down as one of the great characters in classic cinema, but perhaps it’s for the best he stays a testament to what makes the Ipcress File as well as Caine’s performance unique.
