I have never seen movie as beautiful as that.These visuals and soundtrack…oh it takes my heart.I felt only one feeling while watching a movie — delight.The characters of Adam and Eve are exquisite.They complement each other perfectly.Philosophy of Adam is so familiar to me,his thinking and his mind.It feels to me like he’s a piece of my soul,which is hidden very well.
Only Lovers Left Alive — is not just a vampire movie. This is a film about the curse of being alive in a world where everything else is already dead. Adam and Eve are not running from death — they are running from boredom, from vulgarity, from human fuss, which has long been louder than their music. They don't save the world. They just find each other in it. So this is the only salvation that exists at all:shared loneliness lasting for eternity.
