I couldn’t tell if they were trying to make him look dehydrated or if that’s just how Robert Redford looks.

Less boring that you would think a minimal dialogue film about Robert Redford on a boat would be.

All Is Lost is an acting showcase by the late great Robert Redford, featuring extremely minimal dialogue and excellent visual storytelling throughout. 

Is it perfect? No, but it’s truly a shining example of what a human being can do in a life-and-death situation—how they can overcome it or almost submit to it.

If you’re a fan of films with very few characters and sparse dialogue, and also enjoy survival films, this is one that deserves to be on your radar.

esta bien que no quieran darle casi ninguna linea de dialogo pero a mi me ha parecido un poco aburrida, predecible porque que te esperas de quedarte en medio del mar? man obvio que vas a tener tormentas y no se me han faltado cosas.

The effects are a little poor and it could have shaved 10-15 minutes off but, this is great. A mostly silent Redford is given ample room to let the years on his face shine, a facial and physical acting masterclass. Seems only more poignant after his passing.
