The monuments men is just okay I have zero feelings about this movie I neither love it or hate it. With Clooney directing I was hoping for something different or unique but it’s very flat directing wise. The cast are great and make this watchable considering the playing out of the story is rather boring and nothing much happens in this movie.

The Monuments Men is okay. It’s kinda based on the true story of a group of soldiers assigned by the Allies to find works of art and take them back from the Nazis. It’s an interesting concept, I suppose. It feels kinda goofy, and tries to be one of those sappy movies that act like they have emotion; you know, something George Clooney would direct. Bill Murray is old. I feel like maybe a romance between Matt Damon and Cate Blanchett wasn’t needed. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s nothing special. 4.5/10
