I think if you’re going to screen a work-in-progress print at a festival, you should make it as known as possible because this is not a finished film. Audio doesn’t sync up with scenes, voices don’t sync up with lip movement, there are a ton of scenes using what are very obviously stock sound effects, and not all of the visual effects are finished either. I’m not going to harp on the acting, writing, or direction (despite how much I want to) but I just want to reiterate that this team premiered this film over half a year ago. Everybody involved in this movie has had the time to actually finish the film before submitting it to another festival, but yet here we are.
