If this movie had no dialogue it would be just as good if not better, and that’s not even saying the dialogue is bad, this movie is just such a pure piece of art that the visuals and sound design are so good on their own that it’s incredible to see on screen. Shout out the music and score as well, that shit bangs

this was my entry into the lupin franchise and i had so much fun. this is definitely something i can take a deep dive into and obsess over. the characters are all so likeable (and queer coded), the soundtrack is so fun, it has all the 80s anime cliches i love, the clever visual gags with creative animation, this is really a perfect debut movie by one of the most beloved anime directors!

This guy lupin reminds me a lot of a certain          🦅pirate dude🦅… This is just a lot of fun, every few minutes you’re thrown into a crazy chase or action sequence that just keep you locked in… It just makes you realize Miyazaki was way ahead of his time…(also probably has the most brutal death scene out of any Miyazaki movie🕛)
