The plot was honestly really flimsy, and the found footage aspect while cool certainly took you out of it since it's supposed to be shot during the 1940's. Though I did find the special effects to be fantastic and very impressive for a lower budget movie. Definitely shouldn't have gotten myself popcorn, since the movie grossed me out too much to eat it. The characters were for the most part unlikable. I was really annoyed that the cameraman Dimitri had plot armor since I found him very irritating and could not wait for him to die. Luckily for me the only character that i remotely liked, Sacha, ended up surviving so yay for that.
