Heinytober
Take a low budget, po-faced zombie flick, toss in an unexpected handful of recognizable actors, and sub out cannibal rovers for zombies. Same usual criticisms stand. Lots of talking, little action, and no change of scenery. Not enough character dynamics to go for soap opera trash, not enough gore for that kind of trash, nothing surprising, and the cinematography is best described as “as-is” but it’s not super shitty. There’s just no reason to watch this.
