Sad that India’s first Grand Prix-winning film at Cannes never got a proper release in India itself.

I don’t understand. I honestly don’t. Why, oh WHY did there have to be eleven winners of the Palme D’Or? Enlighten me. Somebody must have the answer. I’ve yet to see a valid explanation.
Neecha Nagar is...and I know you film degree people run from this word...boring. It is so boring!!! There is nothing exciting or interesting or even remotely special about anything that happens in this film. Bland. Dull. Hard to watch. The one thing Neecha Nagar has going for it is a message about the living conditions of India’s poorest and through the lens of social commentary, I see it’s worth. It just executes the message in such a boring way.
