On the eve of her 17th birthday, Mari and friend Phyllis set off from her family home to attend a rock concert in the city. Attempting to score some drugs on the way, the pair run afoul of a group of vicious crooks, headed up by the sadistic Krug.

wes craven… i had come to expect more from you… this movie has SERIOUS SERIOUS tone issues. i also couldn’t help but notice that the large majority of the focus in this film was on the male characters… which is upsetting for a rape/revenge movie… not unexpected from a male director but i had hoped that wes would’ve been different 💔
