What the fuck was Amy’s problem?
If I had blind Val Kilmer (he has never been sexier) in all his hockey, smooth voice, skilled hands, cute dog + small town glory interested in little old me, I would NOT change the man and simply thank my lucky stars some other chick didn’t swipe him up, but that’s just me. (Those massage scenes actually killed me, whoever wrote that into the script THANK YOU)
Val delivered a brilliant performance as always. I always forget he’s on screen until my inner cavewoman comes up because he’s just so beautiful.
Points docked off because it was a bit cheesy at times, could have leaned more into the themes of how fucked up Amy was being (seriously have never hated a character more, leave that poor man ALONE) and also did not like the bit of them ending up together. I know it’s based on a true story but the heart wants what it wants.
