We might be a little bit too harsh on ourselves sometimes, taking into consideration the fact that we all live life for the first time. When this movie worked, it showed a wonderful and bumpy relationship of two people that have always yearned for each other, yet are both terrified of making a decision that won’t last and will leave them hurt. When it didn’t… it was boring and bloated with scenes that could have been cut without any real impact on the story. I’d much rather watch more of the main characters trio – the argument Noah and Rebecca had that stemmed from Maya’s unresolved issues was easily the most electrifying and fascinating scene in the whole movie.
