The only good part of this movie is the very beginning scene then it just goes downhill from there. It went from a survival gritty film to a military, stop the virus film. It becomes something super generic and boring. It also had some ridiculous scenes in it, like when they went into the subway with no light, dumb as fuck.

I’ve got a lot or respect for the people of London for being able to hide from the cameras every time a new zombie movie starts filming. I’ve never seen a city look so empty. I’d say this was a worthy successor to 28 Days Later. Obviously not quite as good, but it’ll definitely give you an adrenaline rush. I liked Jeremy Renner’s performance, and everyone else was alright. Hope I can catch 28 Years Later in theaters soon.

Some really effective scenes (e.g., cottage, the tube) in what is generally an ineffective movie. Feels like a setup film, which is weird since they didn’t have concrete sequel plans at the time.
