a little fact about me: i love celebrity documentaries/essays/memoirs/autobiographies. i could watch and read them for the rest of my life and be totally happy. so i stumbled upon 'the eyes of tammy faye' and was really excited to see it.
i knew who tammy faye was, i've heard her name a few times from some shows and movies. i had an idea who tammy was, but wasn't really sure. but after watching this documentary, i fucking love her. (i just googled her, and she's dead so i'm stilling going to say 'love'.) this woman was such a sweetheart. a good ole christian woman with a heart of gold, and big ole lashes coming from her eyes. that make-up is iconic though.
i kind of loved how this documentary was set up. with chapters and little puppets and some interest footage. the ones that stood out were of her singing, and the footage of interviewing a gay male with AIDS on her christian show. what a woman.
i just fucking love tammy faye now.
