Throughout my life, his films have been essential (specifically Hellboy and Pacific Rim).
I think he and Villeneuve are my greatest inspiration and what motivates me most to pursue my dream of becoming a director. Regarding what I saw, putting aside my love for Guillermo, the production of this film is one of the most mpressive things I've ever seen.

This short behind-the-scenes was very fascinating to me. I'm not very aware of the specifics that go into the making of a film, so I certainly learned a lot, but hearing about all the different departments and crazy talented people who worked laboriously on this masterpiece was insane. The amount of detail and precision behind every small detail to huge sets and machinery was so awe-inspiring, and my dream is to be able to experience the chaos and expertise that goes into a film like this for myself.
