Supposedly a film primarily set in Tehran, but then majority of the scenes are in a desert ? It has a very stereotypical portrayal of Tehran showing it to be all a desert , despite Tehran is known for its mountainous landscapes , overall it annoys me how it’s claimed to be set in Tehran but then clearly isn’t , and was actually filmed in Jordan and Morocco - 2 countries VERY different to Iran.Other than those complaints , it’s portrays persian poetry and palaces beautifully ,and in general it’s funny to see likes of Nicole Kidman and James Franco trying to speak Farsi ( which they only speak a few words really).

Historically inaccurate, unnecessarily long AND forced James Fr*nco’s terrible attempt at an English accent down my throat
