Jerry Lewis quebra os padrões da antiga Hollywood usando a comédia, com um filme que mesmo sem uma narrativa consegue funcionar, o filme é basicamente só uma enorme esquete com situações idiotas e estranhas, e o filme consegue ser bem divertido, apesar de eu não ser o maior fã dessa comédia extremamente idiota do Lewis, algumas piadas envelheceram mal até. dito isso, quando o filme cria comédia utilizando a própria edição é GENIAL, tem muitas cenas que a comédia é criada através do som com ausência de imagem, isso é algo que hoje em dia qualquer um faz com o Premiere, mas imagina isso há 66 anos atrás? é algo muito a frente de seu tempo, certamente.
com um filme super bobinho, Jerry Lewis consegue quebrar o sistema de Hollywood e trazer algo praticamente revolucionário!

Quite literally died from the skit with the recently married couple. An absolute wacky delight from start to finish. A real showcase for Jerry Lewis and the raw power in making a silly face.
