SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL 2026: FILM #7
Ending the festival with a whimper.
I couldn’t get into this one at all. I wasn’t a fan of the editing, characters or humor. I didn’t think it was funny. But it kind of gave me Friendship vibes, so that’s good, I guess? This was my least favorite film of the festival. I know other people would like it, but it wasn’t for me.
That wraps up my Sundance this year! The majority of the films were either mid or just plain bad, but I discovered a few great films. Josephine was by far the best film I watched, with Take Me Home close behind. I can’t wait to watch those films again.
You can check out my Sundance festival list to see all that I watched and read some reviews you might’ve missed.
Until next year, hopefully!

The film leans into cringe, chaos, and satire that’s entertaining to watch. Committed performances from the cast also elevate the zaniness of the film.

The biggest highlights are the score and the pacing. It’s a fun revenge story that doesn’t run too long, with consistently strong performances across the board. Didn’t love the ending
