Hitchcock's Rope is one of his best works to date, an innovative film with one of the best long takes in history. A film that could easily be written by analyzing each character and their motivations.
I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film. Few have achieved that feat, and those that do don't all have what Rope has. Spectacular performances, a splendid script, and monumental technical contributions.
