i rewatched this because i kept seeing clips of him in therapuss and i thought wait why he kinda (sorry sometimes i am just a girl fr), he seemed different and i realized he was not performing there, he was just having a casual conversation and wow i was impressed. he seems cool and collected and even emotionally intelligent (definitely the result of growing up around women).
that podcast talked about some of his process in making this netflix special (although not enough in my opinion) and i’m just so intrigued every time people talk about what goes behind the scenes of their work. he put so much work into this from writing the script up until the editing process that i just had to rewatch this with a different perspective.
honestly some of these jokes just weren’t for me but i found the second half much funnier and enjoyed it which is something since i’m not even big on standups
