On a normal Friday morning, both complain about each other and wish they could have the easy life of their daughter/mother for just one day and their wishes come true as a bit of magic puts Annabel in Mrs. Andrews' body and vice versa. Freaky Friday
It’s always fun to see the teenage one in the body of her mother, like look at Barbara Harris acting like a teenager, it gets funnier every time I see it
It’s a classic and if you are a teenager or were a teenager you know what that feeling is, then you see that at every age you have problems, it doesn’t change

*“Hi mum, I love your teeth.”
*
“If you care, get into this car and drive me to the Marina so I can save my dads neck and my mummy’s life.”

This is so fucking funny.

“As a dad you're terrific. As a husband, you're more like a traffic cop!“

This was really fun! Obviously the remake is better, though that's not exactly a fair fight when one movie has decades of filmmaking advancements on its side. The green screen and some of the effects definitely gave away its age, but honestly, that was part of the charm.

I loved how unapologetically old-school it felt. The fact that a 13-year-old talked the way my grandma does had me crying 😭 It was such a funny reminder of how much times have changed.

Is it the best movie ever made? Definitely not. But it's charming, entertaining, and surprisingly easy to enjoy. I had a great time watching it, and that's really all I can ask for.

It's okay. I thought the 2003 Freaky Friday was the original, but this was really nice to see young Foster outside of the two scorsese movies from the 70s that she was in. Some really funny moments as. Good family entertainment imo.

i mean it’s okay but who wouldn’t prefer a version with lindsay lohan, jamie lee curtis and chad michael murray? (also waaaay funnier than this one)
