I respect the Duffers for creating one of the most iconic shows of all time, but its also absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't finish 8 episodes of television in 3 years.

I’ve always loved watching behind-the-scenes footage, just because it’s something that’s always fascinated me. I’ve always wanted to work in cinema, and seeing how all the jobs coexist, the friendships that form on set, the little behind-the-scenes moments—it’s always been magical to me. Honestly, it always moves me.
With this Stranger Things making-of, you really get to see the difficulties they faced during production. It also explains why some actors didn’t always perform the way we might have expected. Even the ending wasn’t exactly what we might have imagined, because they wrote parts of the script only a few days before reading it with all the actors. It’s not bad—it’s just that you can feel the little bumps in the process.
And yes… I cried. I’m super sensitive, so seeing people cry always gets me. But I think what moves me the most is that it’s really about leaving a part of your childhood behind. These actors are roughly the same age as me—or at least close—and soon, I’ll also have to turn the page on my own childhood. And that’s why it resonates so deeply with me. It’s not just a making-of; it’s a little mirror of growing up, and that’s why it hits me so much.

Interesting from a filmmaking perspective but why are the Duffer brothers so incapable. This just goes to show what happens when you divorce your ghost writer.
