the people calling this boring must have watched a different movie than i did because i was so intensely locked in the whole time.
this is such a unique perspective that we so rarely get to see, and for the most part felt honest, even if not accurate on the part of the narrator, especially for a propaganda film. the only part that felt particularly egregious was the moscow trials, but besides that it did feel like a fairly honest depiction of the ussr. i love depictions of friendship between the us and ussr, i just think its so interesting, and this was definitely that, so maybe im a little biased! but i really did find it entertaining.
