On a second watch, it really cemented for me just how good this movie actually is.
It works on so many levels , and does so many things well.
There is one issue, the whole strange ass plot with chun’s wife. Like there is no real consequences for it either . Like chun doesn’t give a shit, the movie doesn’t give a shit, happy ending nobody cares that his wife was killed and her corpse was violated . Which even describing that scene makes this movie sound way different than what it actually is, a lighthearted fun romp.
Other than that though, this is still one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve ever seen.
