I honestly enjoyed this story of two attention seekers who are crying for help with their actions, and they find friendship and comfort within each other. I found it kind of sweet. It melted my heart when Jim asked Josie if they could finish the 3/4 of the song they danced to in junior high as repayment for her being cold to him in school. Now, once the robbers come into the picture, the movie goes downhill for me until the very end. Jennifer Connelly is one of the most beautiful women ever, and I feel like it's not talked about enough.

this movie would have been a fucking masterpiece you can clearly see what parts of the script the director overwritten Hughes’ original script and how he didn’t understand the script at all, this is supposed to be a breakfast club kind of movie and instead it’s a horny slop that is also kind of funny…think about it for sec.. how tf do you manage oversexualize the most beautiful women in the world?
This movie is still good but it is such a wasted potential

Set ups and payoffs are there I guess. Connelly brings life to a role that’s not the best. Otherwise leave me alone.
