So I’m aware that the Strangers trilogy is intended to be watched back to back, which is new information that they should have told us when the first one was coming out.
It’s a pretty decent trilogy in my opinion, that loses its feel as it goes throughout.
With it being intended to watch back to back, it’s heavily reliant on remembering the events of the previous instalments, which isn’t something people are always prepared to do.
The start of the trilogy is strong, and has a clear idea of where it wants to go. The middle starts out promising and then endures a clear shift which sets the tone for the rest of the trilogy, getting worse and worse.
I’m happy we got more strangers content, but in Al honesty this could have been done in one film.
I would have much preferred a limited tv show, but after the way they ended things in chapter three, is that the next step?
