definitely an anarchistic point of view to look at the world. a film that’s definitely more rebellious than informative, i will give props to its integrity for creating a more extremist anarchy environment rather than following a storyline structure. especially with its grainy frames and low budget grit, it’s still able to convey the rambunctious and sinister mentality that’s caused by the abuse on the youth.
although this film could get pretty ignorant at times following its strong ideology, like the consistently stupid use of a swastika in the film. where it doesn’t bear any relevance to the environment or characters. and i understand that it probably only comes off as ignorant because of the ideology but still there should still be awareness in extremist films like this.
i love how the influence of music becomes such a cultural event like it’s a religion, truly diving down into the ridiculous and bland lyricisms and how dark personal experience lies in the absurdity of it. even bluntly diverts the audience to the possible delusions of what religion is and creates a reality where “demonic” music is real and violent.
along with the nonexistent story, there are the batshit crazy visuals including murdering people based on the music they listen to, committing cannibalism to become the monster that the world has painted them to be and a huge cockroach that squeezes people to death. this film wants you to be on acid.
it’s speaking on an anarchical utopia, with the reality we’re facing is very imperfect and that’s the point, never believing in perfection. why want the world to be perfect when it can’t? so why not make it worse?
