Plagued by a seemingly endless stream of haunting dreams, Tomoya drifts through life with an almost overwhelming sense of anger and emptiness. Review for Clannad and Clannad: Afterstory
Really wanted this to be a tear-jerker after hearing that this is considered as probably one of the saddest anime of all time. Really disappointed that I didn't cry or felt that much sad, I think this is cause the show doesn't really let the grief distill, it moves too fast considering how the emotional devastation is only condensed into the last half of Afterstory really. But not much of films/shows really ever taught me about family, or prompted me to look back at the people here in my house, my family. For that I do think that Clannad is a good show.

fucking hell just okay. the show is a fucking masterpiece, the best romance media oat in my opinion and ik this came out before the anime because if i saw this when it came out i would've been so disappointed like it's so rushed, there's no character development what so ever, it tries too cramp both nagisas route and like a tiny bit of after story into this movie and it just doesn't work. the music here is the same as the anime and the vn obviously but other than the ending which it think is okay and some glorious screen time of my goat sunohara this is a huge mess and an honestly terrible adaptation of clannad, but it's an okay movie if u know what i mean
