Wow. Definitely my favourite Todd Solondz film so far. An amazing commentary on how reality can get twisted and called fiction because the truth is ugly and grotesque in the ‘fiction’ story. As well as how something thats meant to be a true telling of someone’s story can be filtered and changed because the truth is too uncomfortable and not entertaining enough, not marketable enough for the viewer to the point it becomes fiction in the ‘non-fiction’ part of the film. I loved the very raw and real script and story as well as Scooby and Vi, i think they’re great characters. My only critique is that Vi’s story could have been a little longer, i was very interested in her part of the film.
