A very solid flick on the what ifs of the Cold War. Can’t feel a little drawn out at times but still a great flick, surprising amount of thrills and edge of your seat suspense for a submarine movie. I was mildly perplexed on how much I liked it.

This movie left me surprised, i didn’t have the highest expectations for it.
Baldwin isn't all that horrible, Neill is outstanding as usual, and Connery is practically flawless. This movie is obviously extremely American, but i don’t mind if it’s done great.
The story could never bore you, since there are so many intense moments that happen quickly.
An essential movie for fans of the Cold War era.

The coolest thing i noticed while watching this, is that a relative of mine played one of the Red October Seamans. I was like “Wait a damn minute😧”
