Coal Miner's Daughter

I love movies made in the 80s. No deaging technology. Tommy Lee Jones just had hair dye and a dream to be 20!

In all seriousness a great biopic. It actually had a story to tell and a lot to say compared to most music biopics that come out today. Crazy that we went backwards in the genre.

Watched on 4K. Looked great and the sound was brilliant!

Sissy deserved Best Actress

Coal Miner's Daughter

Country music is my least favorite kind of music, but I liked it in this film, just a little.

Sissy Spacek gave a great performance and she deserved her Oscar win. I can see why Loretta wanted Sissy to play her. Tommy Lee Jones was really good as well.

I never see this film mentioned much. It deserves to be seen by many more people. It’s a solid biopic.
