King Kong vs. Godzilla
Kong shoves a whole-ass tree down Godzilla’s throat is whole new level of freak…
But lets be honest, he had such plot armor bruh, let’s all agree there’s no way Kong would’ve actually defeated Godzilla…love how silly Godzilla is in this movie tho, dude's just clapping his paws the whole time🥹

This was certainly goofy, but still a major improvement over the preceding instalment in the franchise.

As the title suggests, the film is about a giant monkey punching a giant lizard, but the battle is pitched by a TV executive in the face of low ratings.

The effects are impressive. The monsters actually interact with their surroundings this time, and this is the first film from the franchise to be shot in colour, and the colour doesn’t make the effects look outdated at first.

The fight between the two titans is hammy and nonsensical. It’s like a WWE match. Hell, the plot of the whole film is like WWE, where an evil authority figure screws over humanity, aka the audience, just to please investors.

While the sound of Godzilla was scary at first, over time, it became tiring, and it seemed as if they were spamming the sound by pressing a button repeatedly. Kong never appears like a threat to Zilla if we are being honest, he spends most of the time throwing rocks.
