the real mystery of this film was how it was only an hour and half long yet felt like it was four hours long

The first half is a boring rehash of the first film in the most bland way possible.
The second half is weird and insane and very enjoyable.

while this isn’t a bad film, it just felt contrived and unnecessary. the plot completely undermines the tension produced from the initial film, and the reduced budget only makes the story more unconvincing.
