i kinda wanted a campy vampire film with loads of gore, i mean i kind of got that but it’s just a terrible film??
there’s barley anything redeeming about this film, to put it bluntly. i’m just going to start with the worst element, the acting.. i’m not trying to be horrible but i think i could’ve done a better preformance than whatever these people did. literally none of them want to be here, and that’s evident by how little effort they give this film. another thing terrible is the editing, and the action sequences in total. the action sequences look extremely underwhelming and cheap, for some reason they thought it’d be a good to speed them up, which just gives off a really blurry effect. and the editing is just so overdone to the point of nausea. while i said acting was the worst part of the film, the story was a close second. i genuinely had no idea what was going on, the plot was so incoherent to the point be going on wikipedia didn’t help whatsoever.. did the writers just make it up as they went along? also the lead doesn’t speak until like 40 minutes in. the reason this lured me in was probably because it’s a vampire film with a female lead, but not even the so bad it’s good factor could save this one.
